While everything around me is ever changing, ever dying, there is underlying that change a living power that is changeless, that holds all together, that creates, dissolves and recreates....For I can see in the midst of death, life persists, in the midst of untruth, truth persists, in the midst of darkness light persists ~Mohandas K. (Source: CNN.com) -- As residents of tsunami-ravaged regions struggle for the basics of clean water, food and medical care, focus also turns to the less immediate, but still devastating, mental toll on children.

"The psychological effects are immense," explains Dr. Michael Wasserman, a pediatrician with the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. "Children understand sameness. And for reasons out of everybody's control, you've yanked that away. You've devastated their world." ...

.....*sighs*.....the tsunami came and went, its ripples are still affecting the world....

oh, if not for overcommercialised days, we wouldnt appreciate the daily going ons of our normal days!

Or as the more jaded ones have said, happy singles awareness day ;)Not that Im in any way cynical. In my opinion, Im so so happy for my friends who have loved ones, and for my friends who are single, Im glad they dont have to worry about keeping someone else happy and burning money for them. I love my friends!

    Aha.

Christinas been found. Enough said on that until I get back to Miri and find out more information.

I head back to university this Friday, so if any of you reading this are from uni, lets meet up and chill before we succumb to the evil that is actual studying. I dont mind university most of the time, if it wasnt for the evil studying they make us do.

    Hmph.
